The Díné or Navajo, are located in the southwestern part of the united states. Their traditions showcase a basket design that represents their beliefs of who they are as people. Their baskets usually carry traditional/ sacred items and medicines during their ceremonies and often depict the same idea when the design is sewn into clothing or beaded into beadwork.
